The Holy Bible: The Bible is the eternal, infallible, inerrant, verbally inspired Word of God. The Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are inspired by God and inerrant in the original writings. The Scriptures shall be interpreted according to their grammatical-historical, dispensational, and more importantly by its revelatory meaning (2 Timothy 3 verses 16 & 17; 2 Peter 1 verses 20 & 21).

 

Baptism: A symbolic act that's an outward expression that occurs after an individual has received Christ as their personal Lord & Savior. It is often called "Believer's Baptism" since a testimony of salvation is required before one can be baptized. This baptism is performed by full bodily immersion in water. Baptism is an outward display of a Believer's death, burial and resurrection with Jesus the Christ (Matthew 28 verses 19 & 20; Mark 16 verse 16; Acts 2 verse 38).

 

Communion: The Lord's Supper, sometimes called "Holy Communion," is the partaking of unleavened bread and grape juice. Communion is celebrated in remembrance of Christ's sacrifice on Calvary, in which He voluntarily gave His Body to be crucified and shed His perfect blood for the forgiveness of sin (1 Corinthians 11 verse 26; John 6 verses 53 - 38; Luke 22 verses 19 & 20).

 

The Godhead: There is one God eternally existing in three persons, The Father, The Son, and the Holy Spirit (2 Corinthians 13 verse 14; Matthew 28 verse 19; John 1 verse 14; 1 John 5 verse 7; Genesis 1 verses 1 - 3).

 

The Deity of Jesus Christ: The Lord Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God. He became a man without ceasing to be God, having been conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary so that He might reveal God and redeem all people (Isaiah 7 verse 14; Luke 1 verse 35; John 1 verse 1 - 14). Jesus is God, who manifested Himself in the flesh to redeem humanity (1 Timothy 3 verse 16).

 

The Substitutionary Blood Atonement: The Lord Jesus Christ died for the sins of the whole world, was buried and rose the third day again according to the scriptures (1 Corinthians 15 verse 1 - 4). Through His Vicarious Substitution sacrifice, all who believe in Him are justified on the grounds of His shed blood (Romans 3 verses 24 - 26; Acts 13 verse 39).

 

The Second Coming of Christ: The Bible teaches the personal, bodily, pre-tribulation, pre-millennial, imminent return of Christ, and the coming Kingdom of our Lord on earth for one thousand years (Revelation 20 verses 1 - 6).

 

Salvation: The Bible teaches that salvation is the gift of God brought to man by grace and received by personal faith in Jesus Christ, whose blood was shed on Calvary for the remission of our sins (John 1 verse 12; Ephesians 2 verses 8 - 10; 1 Peter 1 verses 4 & 5). All the redeemed are kept by God's power and are thus secure in Christ forever (John 6 verses 37 - 40).

 

Creation: God created the physical universe by direct creation. All spirit beings, man, and lower forms of life were all created by God. The early chapters of Genesis are the literal and accurate history of the authority of God (Genesis chapter's 1 & 2).

 

The Eternal Abode: All men will be resurrected. The saved will abide forever with Christ in Heaven and then the New Earth. But the lost will abide forever in the Lake of Fire (Matthew 24 verse 46).

 

At death, the souls of believers immediately pass into His presence, and there remain until the resurrection of the Body at the rapture; where the soul and body will be reunited to stand before Christ to be judged of their works for the giving of rewards.

On the other hand, the souls of unbelievers remain after death in conscious misery until the final resurrection at the end of the millennium for judgment; the result of this judgment will be that all will be cast into the lake of fire, not to be annihilated, but to be punished with everlasting separation from the presence of the Lord and the glory of His power (Luke 16 verses 19 - 26; Revelation 20 verses 11 - 15).

 

The Fall of Man: Man was created in the image of God; he disobeyed God (sin) incurring not only physical death but also spiritual death which is separation from God. All human beings are born with a sinful nature and are sinners at birth, positively inclined to the work of evil, and therefore, under just condemnation to eternal ruin without defense or excuse (Genesis 1 verses 26 & 27; Psalms 58 verse 3; Romans 5 verses 12 - 21; 1 Corinthians 2 verse 14).

 

The Holy Spirit: The Holy Spirit is the supernatural agent who convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. He is the supernatural agent in regeneration, baptizing all believers into the Body of Christ, indwelling, and sealing them unto the day of redemption. The Holy Spirit is the divine Teacher who assists believers to understand and appropriate the Holy Scriptures, and it is the privilege and duty of all the Saved to be filled with the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 2 verses 9 - 16; Ephesians 1 verses 17 & 18; 1 John 2 verses 20 - 27).

 

Missions: God has given the Great Commission to proclaim the Gospel to all nations so that there might be a great multitude from every nation, tribe, ethnic group, and language group who believe on the Lord Jesus Christ (Matthew 28 verses 19 & 20; Mark 16 verse 15; Luke 24 verses 46 - 48).

 

Giving: Every Christian is a steward of that portion of God's wealth entrusted to him. He is obligated to support his local church physically and financially. God established the tithe as a pattern for proportionate giving and the offering as sacrificial giving to support the local church, relief for those in need, and the spread of the Gospel (Genesis 14 verse 20; Malachi 3).

 

Human Sexuality: God has commanded that no intimate sexual activity should be engaged in outside of a marriage between a man and a woman. Any form of homosexuality, lesbianism, bisexuality, bestiality, incest, fornication, and adultery are sinful perversions of God's gift of sex (Genesis 2 verse 24; Leviticus 18 verses 1 - 30; Romans 1 verses 26 - 29; Hebrews 13 verse 4).

 

Marriage: Marriage is a divine institution between a man and a woman only and God intends for a marriage to last until one of the spouses dies. Divorce is a distortion of God's intention for marriage. The Scripture does teach in the case of sexual unfaithfulness that divorce may be initiated thou not required. Our church will extend the opportunity to every person to repent of sexual perversions such as adultery, fornication, incest, homosexuality, lesbianism, and bisexuality. While we love everyone as Christ has instructed us, we will not consent to, engage in or perform wedding ceremonies or same-sex unions for homosexuals, lesbians, animal unions or individuals operating in incest. (Matthew 5 verses 31 & 32; Romans 7 verses 1 - 3; 1 Timothy 3 verses 2 - 12; Titus 1 verse 6; Genesis 2 verse 24; Leviticus 20 verses 1 - 17; Leviticus 18 verses 1 - 30; Romans 1 verses 26 - 29; Hebrews 13 verse 4).

 

Civil Government: God has ordained and created authority consisting of three basic institutions: 

1) the home 

2) the church

3) the state

 

Every person is subject to these authorities, but all including the authorities themselves are answerable to God and governed by His Word. God has given each institution specific Biblical responsibilities and balanced those responsibilities with the understanding that no institution has the right to infringe upon the other. The home, the church, and the state are equal and sovereign in their respective Biblically assigned spheres of responsibility under God (Romans 13 verses 1 - 7; Ephesians 5 verses 22 - 24; Hebrews 13 verse 17).
